These are some of the most powerful magical artefacts in Palaeoboreanic mythology; they were even powerful enough that some of them could allow mortals to withstand the negative effects of using the Power-stones of Fate.

Lights to the Northern Gate
The Northern Gate is characterized by the properties of rime and drouth. The Gate is representative of the element of earth (said to be cold and dry) and the Winter season (characterized by freezing temperatures in the northern regions, turning water to ice). There are two Watchtowers guarding the Gate: The Watchtower of Earth and the Winter Watchtower.
The Elemental Lamp of Earth — grants its bearer the ability to summon Earth elementals. With more practice and experience, also grants its bearer the ability to psychokinetically move rocks, dirt, clay, and other lithic substrates.
The Winter Torch — grants its bearer the ability to conjure Rime subelementals and Drouth subelementals. With more experience and practice, also grants its bearer the ability to psychokinetically freeze water and move or reform ice.
Lights to the Eastern Gate
The Eastern Gate is characterized by the properties of heat and dampth. The Gate is representative of the element of air (said to be hot and damp) and the vernal (Spring) season (characterized by warmer, wetter conditions than the preceding season). There are two Watchtowers guarding the Gate: The Watchtower of Air and the Vernal Watchtower.
The Elemental Lamp of Air — grants its bearer the ability to conjure Air elementals. With more practice and experience, grants its bearer the ability to psychokinetically fly and conjure wind.
The Vernal Torch — grants its bearer the ability to conjure Warmth & Heat subelementals and Dampth subelementals. With more experience and practice, grants its bearer the ability to psychokinetically accelerate and exaggerate the growth of plants.
Lights to the Southern Gate
The Southern Gate is characterized by the properties of heat and drouth. The Gate is representative of the element of fire (said to be hot and dry) and the Summer season (characterized by hotter, drier conditions than the preceding season). There are two Watchtowers guarding the Gate: The Watchtower of Fire and the Summer Watchtower.
The Elemental Lamp of Fire — grants its bearer the ability to conjure Fire elementals, including Flame elementals and Levin elemenetlas. With more practice and experience, also grants its bearer pyrokinetic and electrokinetic abilities.
The Summer Torch — grants its bearer the ability to conjure Warmth/Heat subelementals and Drouth subelementals. With more experience and practice, grants its bearer the ability to conjure light and heat, and inflict hyperthermia on living things, or protect living things from the effects of extreme heat, or heal living things suffering from extreme cold.

The Western Gate is characterized by the properties of rime and dampth. The Gate is representative of the element of water (said to be cold and damp) and the autumnal (Fall) season (characterized by colder, wetter conditions than the preceding season). There are two Watchtowers guarding the Gate: The Watchtower of Water and the Autumnal Watchtower.
The Elemental Key of Water — grants its bearer the ability to conjure Water elementals. With more practice and experience, also grants its bearer the ability to psychokinetically control water.
The Autumnal Key — grants its bearer the ability to conjure Rime subelementals and Dampth subelementals. With more experience and practice, also grants its bearer the ability to conjure fog and cold rain, or to inflict rapid senescence on living things.
